多読とは、辞書を使わずに外国の絵本などを楽しくたくさん読む、外国語の学習方法です。
このイベントでは多読の基本やコツを学びます。(English follows Japanese.)

International Exchange Event:
Seminar on Extensive Reading for Beginners

Extensive reading (Tadoku), known as one of the study methods for learning a foreign/second language, is to enjoy reading lots of books such as foreign picture books without a dictionary. This seminar introduces the basics and tips for extensive reading.

Date:     Saturday August 17th
Time:     2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Venue:     Conference Room 1-3, 2nd Floor of International Exchange and Culture Building, Akishimaensis
Instructor: SAKAI Kunihide (酒井邦秀氏) (NPO Tagengotadoku)
Capacity: 30 People (Decided by Lot If Many Apply)

Application is available from the online application form, at each service desk of Civic Library or via phone (042-543-1523) from 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 17th to 8 p.m. on Wednesday July 31th.

Selection Result Announcement: Thursday August 1st – Sunday August 4th
Note: Only those selected will be notified. The lottery result will be invalid if we cannot contact the applicant by Sunday August 4th.
